CALA Participation in International Mutual Recognition of Accreditation Arrangements
CALA is a signatory member of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) (www.aplac.org). CALA participates in both the Technical Committee and the Proficiency Testing Committee at APLAC. CALA provides two trained evaluators to APLAC for the evaluations required to grant recognition.
In 2005, CALA first achieved signatory status to the APLAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA)for testing and was accepted as a full member (MRA signatory) of ILAC for testing. Also in 2005 CALAbecame a Full Signatory Member of International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) (www.ilac.org).
CALA participates in the ILAC Laboratory Committee, Arrangement Committee, and the Accreditation Issues Committee and the Marketing and Communications Committee.
